Arabia Motor Corp is one unit consisting of 16 Red Racers, 26 Motorcycles (Harleys, Hondas, and other brands), a Jeep, ATV and three Trikes which usually are our units Flag bearers. These sub-units (Red Racers, Harley's, Honda's) have been selected as Drill Champions in their class for the Years of 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 & 2012. They are very popular with the public and more so with the Kids. They watch us perform our routine at various Parades that we are ask to attend around the Gulf Coast Area of Texas & Louisiana. We take pride in going out in public as one unit to represent ARABIA SHRINE TEMPLE and are always supporting both Shrine Hospitals located in Houston and Galveston.
Team Members of the Harley Class was Cmdr. Laris Nolan, Jim McKinney Divan, Thad Miner and Drill Captain Ruben Robles winning 1st Place and State Champions for 2011. Motorcycles Mixed Class won 2nd Place and Finally the Red Racer team of Drill Captain David Janda, Rick Gallier, Mike Hamm, Larry DeVoy & Alternate Paul Rickman won 2nd Place competing against some stiff competition for the Racers.
Special Thanks go out to our new Members Claude Eichenour and Lloyd Parrent who spent countless hours working on the racers getting them prepared also David Janda, Rick Gallier for hauling their motorcycles for use in the competition. Our Ladies and other members quietly go around in the background doing so much and we sometimes forget to say "THANK YOU".
